>How to build a media list of relevant contacts that will hear you out!
This is part 1B of the blog series: Getting Heard in the Media! Last time I talked about Step # 1 – “Find Media Contacts” and explained how to acclimate yourself with media people who report and write about topics that are associated with what you do (read previous blog post 1A for details).
Another way to find media contacts is to search online news publications for certain keywords. For example, I’m in the financial business so I often go to Wall Street Journal (WSJ) online newspaper to search for new media contacts. Using the WSJ’s search function, I find articles that are related to what I do and will note the author of such articles. The New York Times is another online news source that is great to search on. Again, add these contacts to your list as you find them.
You may be wondering how many contacts from one source should be on your list. Collect as many relevant media contacts as you can and later in the series I’ll teach you how to market to the most important contacts.
Will be back soon!

No question this is the place to get this info, tnhaks y’all.
